Do you see what I see?

I've been going back through my archives and revisiting pictures I've taken in the past. In September of 2007 I spent some time in Shandaken, New York. While there we hiked and explored the surrounding Catskill Mountains.

The trees were only beginning to change color, but it was still a beautiful time of year to be outside. It's on one of these hikes that I started noticing some very distinct peculiarities around us...and was reminded that we weren't alone out there—both currently and historically.
